Kitchen suppression systems: the rules
What Suffolk County requires

Kitchen suppression systems in Suffolk County: what to know
Every 6 months under the Fire Code of New York State, and again after any discharge. Fusible links are replaced every year, and a certificate of inspection goes to the fire code official.
The town or village where the business is located handles the permit and plan approval. Central Fire draws the plans and handles the submission.
It has to be recharged, reset and serviced before you cook again. We do that so you can reopen as quickly as possible.
