Questions

Fire protection on Long Island: common questions

Most businesses need portable fire extinguishers inspected and tagged every year. Restaurants also need their kitchen hood suppression system inspected every six months and the hood and ducts cleaned on a set schedule. Buildings with sprinklers need them inspected and tested on the NFPA 25 schedule. Central Fire handles all of these under one account.
